FINALLY saw an rx-7 at a junkyard...

but it had no motor. and no transmission. and pretty much no interior. and it was a second gen. BUT...

it DID have the engine fuse box!!! (yeay!) so pretty soon, no more friggin fusable links for me... i HATE those stupid things. I do however need to get the fuses for it (all it had was the 80 amp main).

now if only I could find a first gen... with a glass roof... ::sigh::

maybe next weekend i'll go to the hazelton harry u-pull-it (largest in the world) which is like an hour away from me.

anybody live around hazelton know if they have any first gens?

most yards have a computer data-base and will tell you over the phone what cars they have.

I found a GSL-SE at a junkyard here all intact. Lol, unfortunately I was still a noob to rx7's and only cared about snatching the glass top. Got that but unfortunately when I realized it had the 13b and LS rear end I went back and they crushed it the humanity if they only knew what they did.

Since then I have seen about 5 or 6 other FB's in the same area. Pretty cool I got some interior pieces to finish mine off. glovebox, dome lense, rear pieces, console, window regulator, straight gas door. Unfortunately none had anything else of value. unless I happen to blow my tranny or something

damn..... you should all come to southern california.... @ "pick-a-part" alone, you will see around 3-10 sa's and fb's, and around 5 fc's at each one.... there are about 4 or 5 "pick-a-parts" in my area.... most of these cars have full motors and interiors.... the only ones that are torn to shreads are fc s5's... but 13b's are a dime a dozen over here.... i have 3 sitting in my garage... pick-a-part has a 1/2 off sale every few months, so i get full 13bs for $150... everything!!! intake, exhaust, harness..ect... its great.... im sorry to hear of the difficulties of finding "7"s over there... without those doner cars, ours will all rot away!!
