Finally posting my *13b Dyno numbers*

check it out you guys....I've been procrastinating on getting this dyno sheet posted, mostly due to no scanner, but here are some crappy pictures:

Thanks you guys. Those numbers are from an engine dyno.....so Flywheel.
some more engine details:
12a side/center 4 port housings streetported with racing beat templates
gsl-se rotor housings
S5 high compression rotors
stock apex seals
50mm throttle body injection, 4 - 550cc injectors

oh and yes it is a blast to drive
I'm going to Willowsprings tomorrow, I can hardly wait....

I have a question: why does Mazdatrix have one of my photographs on their dyno printouts?! The photograph is copyrighted and was of an engine built at Pineapple Racing.

I saw this car as well. Very nice. This engine shows exactly how everyone else out there is messing up. Racing Beat streetport template used to get the port sizing. Why people call it conservative and then go larger only to put down less power is beyond me. Racing Beat streetport exhaust. I had one. Nice unit. Some people say Racing Beat mufflers are restricitive. This would seem to say otherwise. This must mean all the "expert" opinions that are so prevalent on the forum that state the opposite of how this is done are actually right and this more conservative route is wrong. Just remember that 1 result is worth more than a thousand expert opinions. This is how to do a motor. Nice job.

I am not used to that kind of dyno sheet, so it's a little confusing for me.

Anyway you look at it, those are awesome numbers..
Please post more pics of your car now.. It really must be fun now..

I have no idea.

Yes. At Mazdatrix they have a full rb sp system just for the dyno...so it matches the one in my car exactly.

Wow. Thank you. I too like the RB system, the only reason I would ever change it is to save weight...that thing weighs a ton.

Thanks. It is calculated flywheel horsepower. It was an engine dyno...meaning engine out of the car bolted directly to the dyno. It still has to "calculate" the horsepower, but it is completely different than a chassis dyno that has to measure threw wheels, axels, diff, trans, etc. limme see if I can muster up some pics

that's a winner right there. btw, are you still on the stock mazda recirculating ball steering setup? or have you switched over to rack and pinion?

I think it converts to more than 190rwhp...maybe 205? I want to take it to a chasis dyno to see the differerance between the two.
I didn't keep track of cost very well. Not as much as you might think...I'd say it was pretty average. I did most of the labor, so that really helped.

thanks. I tried the r&p but did'nt like it on the track...it was cool on the street though. So I sold the r&p on eBay and installed full powersteering with a custom adjustable pressure valve to dial in just enough assist...works great.

The only thing custom is the adjustable valve and a PS fluid cooler I added. So other than some braided lines and a moog HD idler arm it's all stock mazda PS parts off a gsl-se including the recirculating ball steering box

Nice numbers out of an N/A... Anything planned to increase those numbers?

It's a far cry from the stock 100 or 135.

interesting.. my buddy swears that the GSL-SE power steering robs a very significant power. his previous setup was a 12a SP on modified nikki carb w/ other goods done to it. also, you haven't experienced steering play as the days go on?

any link to this moog heavy duty idler arm? if it works for you, i might have to try it out for myself.
