Fiberglass valance!

Well here is the fiberglass valance! I finally got it partially done. I am selling these things to the road racers and drag racers. Some mods have to be done to mount them. They have the flanged to bolt to the fenders and under the hood but not the sides that go down to the frame. You will have to supply or build your own brackets. These things are very light!!!

Steve

PS I am working on the vented ones now

Sorry, cant get the pics up.....someone needs to help me on posting these things!!!

I used to put them in a file on my computer and transfer them to the posting area.....this doesnt work anymore???????

Well its not pretty but I got it to work!!!! http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...07_32_full.jpg

Looking good man. Everyting you do seems to be top notch, keep it up . At the rate youre going, youll have the whole front of the car in fiberglass soon. Between your hoods, valances, headlight covers, etc and a wide body kit, we could have some serious fiberglass front ends going on, lol. Why you would want to do that, I dont know, but at least you could if you wanted to .

You wont get me in trouble Do you know how many people "splash" off of stock steel parts? If I made a steel valance copy of the factory unit....I might get in trouble but doubt it. I am making fiberglass pieces, not even remotely close to the factory part. Also, I am possibly working on a deal with MazdaSpeed Developement.

Oh yah, I do make hoods. The fiberglass hood is $225.00 and the valance is $125.00. The head light lids are $75.00 for the pair(includes the vented one on the right). I will sell them seperate $35 for the non vented each and $45 for the right side vented.

I will get the #s this weekend and post them. I do know that all of the other fiberglass parts have been 1/2 of the weight of the factory steel.

I am actually working on this!!! I am looking to build it for my autocrosser.

At this point I dont think I am going to be doing carbon stuff. Costs too much to build and no one is willing to put the money up. I am doing alot of parts for racers.

Hmmm, the more I think about this the more I don't think it would be a good idea for my car. I drive my seven to work and back sometimes (use that lunch hour for more then eating sometimes), and I can just picture one of the Bubbas in the shop leaning on my hood in the parking lot during a break to smoke a cig, and the hood cracking down the middle! If I had a dedicated auto-x/ club racing car- then this would be perfect!
