A fews Questions about running a 12a Bridgeport

So I picked up a a 12a Bridgy for a hell of a deal, with great compression(ghetto comp-test). With receipts and pictures documenting the rebuild and the port job. My question is what do I need to change in my car to run this motor properly. It came with a Holley Carb and Intake and a RB Header. I have a a Holley Fuel Pump already in my car. Sorry to sould like a idiot but its my 1st bridgy and I want to make sure I do it properly. Thanks Guys!

On another note, Iam rebuilding a 12a that I've had sitting around to have as a spare. Can I mix up Atkins Rotary side seals with Mazdatrix Side Seals springs? And I have Atkins Corner Seals but Iam thinking about running Mazdatrix Corner Springs cuase it a little easier on the wallet. Is it possible? Thanks Again

The company that sells the seal has nothing to do with the seal itself. There's only a handful of companies that produce the seals for rotary engines. Atkins and Mazdatrix are dealers, not manufacturers. You can mix and match as long as they are for the same engine, although I'm sure alot of pieces are interchangeable. Make sure you get a good fuel pressure regulator. I would recommend against the Holley regulator. A few people including myself have been having problems with the pressure staying constant. Also do not skimp on a decent fuel pressure gauge. Check out www.re-speed.com for their gauge. It is very accurate, and worth the $60. Make sure your ignition is in good shape and you should be good to go.

Thanks for the tip! What regulator would you recommend?

Honestly I wouldn't be able to direct you to a suitable alternative. I hear good things about Aeromotive but have not tried them. If deburring my Holley doesn't work I'll be trying an Aeromotive. Haven't done any research on them yet.

if you want torgue, run a 4 barrel, mid range run a side-draft, top end run an IDA.

I personnally HIGHLY recommend the IDA!! Thats what i've got and its awesome, starts easy as every time, no ugly choke cables etc, looks awesome and runs really really well. The sound it makes and full throttle (with no bonnet) brings a tear to my eye!! haha i wouldnt change to anything else

For what it's worth I've had no problems with my Holley regulator, and I've got the ReSpeed gauge so I know my pressure is spot-on.
