It still doesn't like 3k rpm. It gets better the farther you get form 3k either higher or lower. I think When I run her at the strip I'll use the jets that rx7doctor suggested. They seemed to give me much quicker acceleration. Of course it was running rich enough to spit out liquid gas at the muffler. Now it just smells a tad rich. No spitting. We'll see how she does after a few months. I need to take the system out and put in alot of sound deadening. No need for audio in this car. I'd rather get a daily driver Golf and put a system in that.

Yeah. That's another thing I've been meaning to do. I want to remove all the trim I can. Thank you forreminding me. I should do that before the meet at the end of this month.

There's nothing wrong with the stock oil cooler. I should get a WIX filter though. I don't have a bunch of money to pour into this thing. I've all ready spent way too much on it. My thoughts now are to keep this for fun and get a daily driver that's just that, a daily driver. Nothing fancy. That way I can save up for the fun car and add to it a little at a time. I think I should get an electric fan and better radiator before and oil cooler though. She runs a little hotter than I like.

Looks good. One thing good about the beehive cooler, is you seldom here of anyone blowing an oil hose. They are not as efficient, and tend to cause a little higher temp, vs the earlier style. Better than nothing though.
If you plan to remove the trim, any chance the one under the fuel door is still good? Only piece of trim missing from my car. I thought about removing the rest of it, but the car has been painted with it all in place. It was a darker red metallic, now it's bright red. That one piece of trim must have been gone when it was painted, though.
