Fender Flairs?

Ok, there's this purple RX-7... kinda looks like a Porsche... J.K. guys...

Seriously though, I'm not really feeling the widebody thing for my car just yet, nor do I have the money to put into it. I've seen some of the clip on fender flairs and I haven't been able to find any that are still made. Can you guys help me out and tell me what I'm looking for and where to find them? Thanks.

Personally I think fender flairs look CHEEESY as hell! If your gonna throw some wide hides on there. Your rex deserves a widebody. In all actuality, the only reason you would "need" fender flairs or a widebody is if your putting down some high numbers or want it to handle like a race car. The rest is for looks.

In any case, Good luck

From his user name I'd say he's putting down some good numbers.

The answer to both those questions are yes. It is putting down some decent numbers and I want a minimum of a 245 width tire. The second part is yes I do want it to handle like a race car. Becuase that's what it will end up as and quite honestly, who wouldn't want there car to handle like a race car?!

And for anyone curious, the web site is http://www.selectmaz.com.au but they don't have prices. You have to buy their cataloge. I hate that crap sometimes. Anyone know what these go for?

ya didn't notice the username.....I emailed Selectmaz about their Ultima and Euro SS kits. Just bug them, they will give ya some figures.

P.S. Ultima = $1400
EuroSS= $1000

All quotes in US dollars, you will have to do the math, they only quoted in AUS.

Good luck

Wow, that's about $280 shipped for the little flairs. That's a great deal. Thanks a lot guys for the info. I'll go ahead and e-Mail them when it's time for me to get some wider tires.

Ahh that would be the Group C kits! Allan Moffet raced the First gen at Mt Panorama (Bathurst 1000) and won his class a few years running.

a group C kit.

OK iv got a couple questions about the flairs. Let me make sure i understand what has been said.

The group C kits are indeed the smaller club racing ones for like $280 shipped?

The moffat ones are the ones on the race car above that ultralight posted and they are the more expensive ones?

OK and my last question. I think i notice a small difference between the front flairs in the second pictures posted above on the mazsport car and the pic that ultralight posted, are they the same kit?

I am looking for the kit that was on the 24 hr daytona car, is that the IMSA front air dam and GTO kit?

There's my car. If that's the kit you're looking for, let me know, a friend of mine can still get access to them from MazdaSpeed.
