you can if u want to. when i did mine i just left my master the same and i dont see any change in pedal feel or lock up. just some info the -se rear caliper is the same size as fc's rear.

just a quick question tho, does the fd caliper w/ abs matter?

Actually, the TII and FD use the same pads front and rear, and the 4-lug FC uses the same pads front and rear as the SE. They're not all the same, with different caliper offsets I think, but there's a lot of commonality there.

i have a pair of good FD calipers already, so will the T11 rears be the same as my rear rotors and calipers already on my GSL-SE?

Abs pulses the brake fluid, abs doesn't change the caliper.... so any caliper can be used with abs.

Depends on the lines.

FB brake lines seal with a crush washer under the hex.
FC brake lines seal with a inverted flair end.

Look at the end of the lines. If you see a champher leading into the middle hole then they are setup to seal against a inverted flair. If so, make sure the threaded potion is 3/4" long or so. If they are to short they will not seal before the hex bottoms out.
