FC oil cooler question

A while back, someone did an extremly well writeup on how to install a FC oil cooler into a FB. I have searched and searched for this writeup and I cannot find it. If anyone can help or if it was your writeup can you please post the link for the thread.

Thanks,
Chris

You will not regret reading Trochoid's writeup, nor installing the FC cooler.
There is one extra step I took when I installed my FC cooler. On the metal line that I had to cut (in order to clear the A/C mounting bracket), I brazed a bead around the end, and ground it down to form a new barb for the hose to go over. I used the factory barbs as a guide, and made it match as best I could.
If you do not have A/C, you may not need to cut the metal pipe for the return (rear plate) hose.
Took less than a days time to do the install, once I had gathered up all the needed peices, and made the mounting brackets.
I also used some block-off caps on the coolant hose fittings. Some parts stores still have these in pairs, while others have gone to selling an "Assortment" of 3-4 sizes. I had to buy the assortment, and it was about $5 or so.
