Angry fb wheel fitment help!

so i have searched through this forum to the point of headache to find what wheels will fit on my 85 12a. i keep seeing fc and fd wheel fitment guides that are nicely laid out but none for us first gens. i found some 15x7 rims with a +20 offset. my suspension and body is stock. id like to know how wide and how tall i can go and with what offset. i may also order something from diamond racing wich will require me to put in all the info that i do not know. please help!! and thanks in advanced and with rim sizes what tire sizes?

ok well stock wheels are 13x5 or 5.5 for the alloys, with an 18mm offset.

so a 15x7 20 is basically the stock offset, and so it'll fit in the rear, and in the front it's close to the spring/shock, but with a 205 or 195 tire it should fit.

if you wanted to run a bigger tire, you'd probably need to run coil overs, for a smaller spring

the reason that u find for fc and fd is they have a more readily available bolt pattern. the 12a cars pattern is 4x110, which is a hard pattern to find unless u have a machine shop redrill a regular set of 4 lug wheels. konig rewinds can be found with the 4x110 pattern and they're a +20 offset. others come up every so often in the f/s section(https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-rx-7-1979-1985-parts-101/). or u could swap out the entire suspension for the gslse that way u get the more popular 4x114.3 pattern.

The Rota RB's are 13x8 with a +4 offset. What tire would you need to run to make that fit?

Here is a little different wheel fitment issue.

I picked up some old school BBS's from a friend, they came off his RX-2. The OE wheel bolts on my '84 GSL are not long enough to even begin threading.

??

Meh, the Mazdatrix studs are too short. I called them first.

I ordered some studs and lug nuts from Gear Works Mfg.

Got 20 longer studs, and a set of 20 lugs nuts, conical seat with a 17mm head for extra clearance for about $30 shipped. Can't beat it.
