fb wallpaper (my first photoshop)

first, thx to sgtfox for the uploading service, tripod has a conniption when I try to upload this picture. Basically, I just learned how to do some real basic photoshop stuff, and I went to look for a FB wallpaper in the gallery section, only to find nothing. SO, I decided to make my own wallpaper. Here is a copy of it, although the actual one is high res (if you REALLY want a copy I can probably e-mail it to you) or you can just use this one if u want a cool fb desktop wallpaper (feel free to edit it in any way shape or form)

Tell me what you think!

Good work. What effects/filters did you use to create that? I don't know a whole lot about creating things in PhotoShop, but I have done printing for others for years and thats really good for a first effort. Hell, its good for a professional.

One request. Lose the text. You have a gorgeous white on black piece of art with a tacked on pink label.

No offense, but it really shows that you were playing with your limited Photoshop knowledge...

Just because you can do a thing, doesn't mean you should do a thing.

It's not horrible, but the "design" is definitely a touch schitzophrenic

I mean, are you trying to show off the 1884 Rx-7? Your font choice seems to suggest you are

eh, i was more or less bored, and wanted it to just look "cool" i'm not a real artsy fartsy person, but I knew inverting stuff looks cool, and I know my car looks cool, so I figured I'd combine the two. and when I took the picture, I took it in black and white. anywho, I like it, and that's all that matters . and mommy says i'm special.

*sigh* It's so difficult to find desktop backgrounds that are just a good plain picture of a something :-)

Not a bad effort though!
