Question FB under body cotting?

Hey guys, I was just wondering do they sell some kind of spry or can that I can use to do that black under body cotting on the FB?

I think is a insulation or noise reduction something like that.

well they have rubberized undercoating in a can and also truck bed lining works. both can be found at most auto parts stores.
just spraying over rust won't really help...

What did you use for rust conversion a primer, you may not be ready for undercoating yet.

just get rid of the rust, prime and paint and undercoat with someting like rhinoliner. stay away from water based undercoating products.

Have not heard of this one, who makes it? I have used the cheap rattle can Rust Converter that WalMart sells, it rust through again the first time it gets wet. Looks good when first sprayed on, takes 24 hours before recoat. I won't be using it again.

Once the rust is treated, use an automotive grade primer/sealer, then paint. Part of the function of the undercoating is to prevent rock chips in the underbody paint covering.

Don't forget to check all of the seams that have seamsealer. Once it begins to loose it's bond, it will trap moisture and allow rust to spread underneath the coating.. If it is loose, remove it, treat the rust, prime, recaulk, then paint and undercoat.
