FB powersteering for under $200

Anyone interested in knowing how to get a Tilt column, and powersteering into an FB for under $200. No major fabrication, direct bolt on app, comes with mounting bracket for pump, and Steering Column. All you need is some Hyrdaulic hoses made.
Got a guy making kits, but wants to know if there is interest in it.

Aside from the tilt column, how is it superior to the stock power steering that came with GSL's and GSL-SE's?

If I'm paying $200 for a kit already why not make it $225 and throw those hoses in for me too.

NevarMore:
It isnt going to be superior to the stock setup, just cheaper and more readily available.

Evil_Motors:
I will check into that to make sure, but I am pretty sure It will fit the SA no probs.

Can you instead give us a better alternative to our stock recirculating ball box?

This mod will actually replace the entire steering column and gear box, so it would be a direct replacement of the recirculating ball steering. AS for better feel of the road I do need to parallel park sometimes without getting a full body workout. I have found it easier to get out of the car and physically pick the car up and move it to parallel park. The stock steering is great once you get rolling past 35 MPH, but anything slower than that and what a waste. Besides I am a fat bastard, and I want a smaller steering wheel. Did I mention Im lazy too........

So it is a rack n pinion power steering kit? I think it sounds interesting enough. Especially if it can retain the collaspableness of the column unlike the CP racing one. Unless CP already fixed that problem. I'm not up to date on that subject at all.

A few more details would be nice to know. Such as gearbox ratio, if the column will accept all factory switches, and whether the column could be ordered seperately, for those only wanting to add tilt steering.
Also, you did not specify whether the kit included the pump and gearbox, or whether they would need to be picked up elsewhere.
When guaging interest in a kit such as this, details are your freind.

Ok sorry it took so long I been working doubles the last 2 days, and I have been too exhausted to go online. As for details someone mentioned rack and pinion steering. It is not rack and pinion. In fact you can get the parts yourself all you need is to fabricate the mounting bracket for your engine. I talked to doug today, just so you know is the guy who was interested in making a kit of this because he is doing the welding for my car. All you need is the steering column, gearbox, and pump from a early 80's 626. All you need to do is find the model that uses the same combination switch, and rear view mirrors as the 1st gen. Alot of different years work. The gear box resembles the 7's with mounts in the same spot with 3 bolts just like the 7. It is even the same darn size, as for gear ratios I dont really pay much attention to that. My car isnt a million dollar racer I just want powersteering for the cheapest amount possible with as little work as possible. Doug asked me to guage the interest of a kit that gives the buyer a bolt and go application. AS for someone saying it sounds like a rip off, hey I got Powersteering and figured I would pass the information on to you guys.
