FB Meeting

Hey guys. I had an FB sighting/meeting today. I was driving to work and I'm coming to a red light and I see a little red FB dart accross the intersection like a cockroach when you flip the light on. I hit my turn signal and jump in the left turn lane. By the time the light turned green and I made the turn I didn't see it anymore. I came to the 3 way intersection and didn't know which way it turned so I just turned right and proceeded to go to work. Well I catch up to traffic and there it is one car up from me. The car ahead of me makes a turn and I'm behind it. Couldn't tell what model or year it was as there were no badges accept Mazda on the back. It turns into a gas station and I follow. I talked to the guy for a good 15 minutes. He's actually a member on the forums but he never posts, just get's his needed information. Turns out it's an 85 S. He's got the RB cat replacement pipe and is going to get the header soon. He's a pretty cool guy. Hopefully I can get him to post some more. Well just thought I'd share. Oh yeah I was 15 minutes late to work but I didn't care LOL

That's awesome.

I had 2 FB sightings in the past 3 days. One was parked around Oragne street in north newark, had a kit rims and a whale tail. The second was at a light and the fb was on the opposite side comming towards me. I waved but the didn't look too happy.

It's good to see more NICE fb owners on the road.

That's the problem with a lot of folks who drive our Rex's. They just buy the car cause of it's looks and not really get into the true nature of "an original Japanese sports car". That just sickens me when you wave at them and they look back without a clue. But, one time when I went to the theaters I found an old one that looked exactly like mine (all white) but I think it was probably an '83, judging by its smallers wheels and different interior. I was just amazed. What are the odds of finding another one? AND being the same color as yours? So I parked right by it and waited for the owner to arrive. He grinned, waved, and left.
