TN FB Injectors

NAPA carries the Echlin injectors(PRICEY) for my '85 GSL-SE. Bostech also carries a compatible one. Does anyone know if the flow rate is the same as the stock injectors? I've sent mine to be cleaned but "not cleanable". Dead from ethanol/H20/sitting in storage for 3 years.

Tx

-SE (subset of FB) injectors are 680cc/min flow rate - are are higher than stock FC staged injectors which nominally flow 550cc/min, IIRC. So, FC stock injectors won't flow adequately to replace your 2 SE injectors with two of those.

I know that Mazda is wanting about $480 each for new -SE injectors, and the supply is getting thin. I have a box of about 6-8 injectors that I've bought over the years (Cobra reman, mostly) and have 2 which flow similarly and with clean spray patterns. RC Engineering is the place to send these off - and they will disassemble, rebuild, reassemble and flow-balance the entire assembly including re-sealing to ensure they don't leak. Well worth the $100 or so to get them rebuilt. Good luck,
