FB Carb and Intake on an SA Block?

FB Carb and Intake on an SA Block?

How possiable is it to put a newer carb on a 79SA? not that i want to but it seems that someone already has... blocked off a ton of **** and makes my car run like ****... i think thats what someone has done... how can i be forsure? thanks

im not sure on this but if there is a big block off plate on the back of the manifold, that would make it FB i dont think the Sa's had this Valve. dont quote me on this though

All first gen intakes are interchangeable.
If there's a pentagon/triangle shaped peice of metal on the passenger side of the intake (or a big whacky device) then it's an "FB" intake.

I've had both. They are interchangable completely. There are very few differences between the two.
