What kind of coil springs do I have?

I'm trying to figure out what kind of lowered coil springs I have on my 85 gsl-se. They ride and handle pretty well. They're painted blue, kind of the same color as tokico "blues". Also, my shocks are Tokicos also, but they're like a goldish color.(non-adjustable.) I'm thinking they're just an older version of the HP's. Any ideas?

Argh, not 100% positive but they sound like Tokico springs because of the colour.

I was thinking that maybe they were tokicos, but I didn't know if tokico made springs, or if they would be blue. Any guess on the model of the shocks?

Tokico

I just bought some new old stock Tokico springs, and they are black. But i do rember my friend's Tokico spring for a Corolla, and they were the blue color, similar to the shock absorbers.

BTW, how does it ride? I'm really looking forward to installing them this weekend. It's probably not gonna happen, but one day soon, when i install the GS' LSD diff and disc brakes. So stoked......

Oh, and the shocks, they did make a variation of them in Japan (as far as different types. I remember a gymkhana, short stroke type, along with the standad white, blue, etc. The shock companies usually will have something engraved on there... that's the only way i can tell now. Some racers in japan just bullshit and spray paint over their shocks. A good example is a set of shocks i got, which was painted "Krylon" black, but turned out to be Bridgestone Potenza short stroke competition shocks. Strange things you learn in the JDM used market for 3 years.

Tokicos are blue. I agree as I have one too. But I also have a set of TMC springs that are blue. usually sold as black but they ran out of paint. Sold to me dir cheap since I know them. So the bottom line: color doesnt mean ****.
