A Farewell to All

Well, the time has come for me to embarke on my journy to Paris Island. For those of you who don't know, that's bootcamp for the Marines. Before i go i am storing my beloved 7 in a climate controled mini-storage securly under a car cover. Every other weekend my dad has promised to take it out for a day, let it completely warm up and take her for a spin. My final question, How do you properly store a 7? Is there anyting special that needs to be done? I've already got a can of "heat" to put in the gas tank, is there anything else? Thanks goes out to everyone, escpecially Joe, he's helped do alot of the work...if not all of it and although my 7's been through hard times it came out rather nicely. You can see some pics at http://members.cardomain.com/rotofire Keep in mind, the first pics are when i got it, the final pics are after hitting a deer and somone else backing into it.

Good luck in boot camp. Just do what they tell you nothing more and nothing less and you'll be fine. As for storage, if you're pops is gonna take it out it should be fine.

Remember, basic training is a headfuck. Don't take anything personally and be prepared for everything to change without notice. Whenever things get stressful just remind yourself of the reasons you joined, and think of the sense of accomplishment you'll enjoy when you're a trained soldier

Very nice car. I like your friends car too. Very clean. I never really noticed how closely related the 7 and 280 are. The 280 just looks like it has an extended rear hatch area. Shorten the car a little and it would look like a 7 from the side.

Good luck.
