fan drive clutch

my fan drive clutch is going out on my 85 gsl, and i was woundering is it any other kind of car that clutch would bolt right up to mine? or would i just have to break down and order one?

Fan clutches are cheap (if I recall correctly), so I wouldn't bother with one from a junk yard.

However, since it's bad anyway, sounds like a good time to upgrade to an electric fan. You can pick those up cheap from a junkyard, then just buy the thermostat control to run it.

Run a search, and you will find lots of info on the swap. Good luck....

i seen somewhere on the site where a guy used a after market clutchless fan, like it was a 17in i think and it bolted right up to the water pump, i dont wanna go the way of electric fan's because i dont really trust them so if anyone knows what kind of fan that i can get to bolt right up and take off that damn fan clutch please let me know thank u
