External Feed OMP

Has anyone done an external feed oil conversion for the OMP? i remember seeing a write up a while ago but i can't seem to find it. I'm considering doin it over the winter, jus thought if someone else else did it they might be able to gimme a bit of an idea.

Later,
Gufran

To run clean-burning, 2-stroke oil without the premixing hassle

It's placed between the motor and omp, it blocks off the suppy from the pan, and still drives the stock pump with your "oil supply".
It took me a few minutes to figure out the advert.

yeah, i think its really quite cool! Its like those old motorcycles with theyre own little separate oil tank so you dont have to count ounces of oil.

That gizmo is one cool mod. I will have to add that one to my long list. Good thing about this is I don't have to ask umpteen questions to understand it

what i dont get is, can't u just use ur stock omp but hook up a reservoir and have the lines that used to take oil from the sump take oil from the reservoir instead, wats the need for this pump?

it's not a pump; it's a spacer. It will use your stock pump, but make it draw oil from an extra reservoir. It's possible to do it easier, but this system is probable the best.

I was very close to it, but not yet. I'm trying to figure out a less expensive way. These things have been done with NSU pumps long before RX-7 engines even excisted, and they didn't need a spacer. Just block of the intake hole o the pump and make a connection on the other side. Yet I'm a bit nervous of experimenting with this issue, as doing it wrong might **** up the engine.
