i also plan to paint my 85 se, i dont want a normal color. i would like some suggestions for some i guess you would say exotic paint colors. stuff other than red, black, blue, etc. i want it to stand out. thanks

 

Try a nice glossy orange.. a nice metallic purple.. or a glossy pearl white with shinny dots!

 

check out House of Kolor, products, ther shimmerin silver is great, and two tone it.

 

I've always wanted to try a medium metallic green on an FB. Saw a picture of one from Aussieland once, it looked teh secks.

lime green or emo style hot pink and black hahaha but the lime green is badass looking on a first gen i saw a pic of a lime one green one somewhere it was sic as hell

 

keep it stock color and mod it tastefully, and it will stand out. paint it lime green and you will stand out because you look like a ricer.

does Not scream ricer yes the car will stand out but for being a rare (exoitc) color but thats just my opinion so ya

might try a different topcoat. Like a flat or a satin. Lot of work to keep them looking good though, since you can't wax them.

but that's a stock color, and its not really what i think of when i hear lime green. i agree, thats probably one of the best looking colors on a first gen... and is stock.

Sounds like you've already picked, but for my .02, I'd say the 350z burnt orange.

Then again, I'm a longhorn, so my tastes may differ from others. :P
