Exhausts in 2023
I know that for years Racing Beat has been king when it comes to first gen Exhausts. But I know that their quality has gone downhill dramatically. I am currently looking to put a new presilencer/resonator on my GSL and I will probably get one for my dad too, but I am starting to look at other options besides RB. Last year both me and my father bought RB 84-85 power pulse mufflers for our cars, mine has not been installed yet but my dad did put his on his GSLSE and I have to say it sounds horrible. It sounds incredibly tinny, even at idle has a very noticeable metallic sound that gest worse under acceleration. Due to this I am looking for other options besides racing beat for my presliencer. What are you guys using? I have heard good things about Vibrant performance, and they make a Resonator that suits what I need. I am not set on a brand, I am just looking for quality.
Short Description: I want a presilencer for my car that sounds good and lasts, I am hesitant of RB due to quality issues.

RB has started making their exhaust inhouse again as of like 2020-21*. People need to do their research before slandering Racing beat , and no i don't own any RB exhausts . They were quick to tell me of all the changes they made at Sevenstock. The company they hired when we were complaining a few years ago were doing garbage work.

Damn, it did start!
I have 3” Racing Beat PR Extreme Muffler and the 3” universal presilencer.
in fact here is the car at idle last year.
I’m working on revisions so it’s not operating at this moment
i should also add my son’s GSLSE has a standard Racing Beat muffler. Purchased around the same time. Wonderful experience driving it. Good tone without being a nuisance to others or being fatiguing to drive.

I have no hate towards racing beat, my family has purchased thousands worth of parts off of them over the years, combined me and my father spent over $1,500 on racing beat parts last year alone. I am thankful that they are one of the handful of company's that still makes performance parts for our cars. Unfortunately It looks like my father got one of their older mufflers back when they were not doing work in house. I did not know that they had moved their production in house. Hearing this makes me consider a RB presilencer again.
