1. I don't know are you using a muffler from a Sebring or is that a company?
2. No you will not pass smog in California with a header on your 7 it deletes some of the smog equipment so you will not pass.

CA smog

You can not use an older engine in a newer body. If you use all the smog gear for the body you may slip by.

Stick your stock exhaust on it, pass emissions, go home bolt up your aftermarket setup

I dont think it is possible to pass with any header on a first gen. If you look at the RB site they say at the bottom that for all headers for Cali are for Racing/Off Road use only.

whittier is pretty far from were you are, im sure....and why? you got something to sell me?
im sure its possible that you can pass with a header, its all about the cats, im sure if you have a brand new stock cat setup and a rb header you could pass no problem (that is if the stock cats would bolt up to the header) in my opinion....
you know what i was thinking? what if i put two high flow cats a header and an exhaust? that would rule..huh?
i want to try but i only bought one high flow....heh
i really hate ca emissions it sucks, japan has all the good stuff.....lol
