Exhaust hole vibrating part.

So I took my header off and as expected the gasket was disintegrated ( My cay clogged and blew them all out) .

So The engine has two exhaust holes with sleeves and one of them vibrates . I have heard this noise shortly before my cat clogged .

Do i need a new housing ? FML .

seems like i've read somewhere that yrs ago someone put 3 little weld spots on the flange of the sleeve then sand flat/even with the mounting flange of the housing. when everything's bolted back together, no vibration.

The sleeves are held in by a role pin. Not sure how welding would work between a metal sleeve and aluminum housing.

I just cut up some of the old gasket into small little strips , hammered it flat and jammed it between the sleeve and the block and it doesn't move any more . 100% sure it wont melt as it took exhaust heat directly .
