Exhaust Diverter

I was watching an american hotrod show the other day, and on a pick up truck, a guy installed a electronic exhaust diverter valve. basically, he can hit a switch and it diverts the path of the exhaust instead of out the muffler, straight out the side of the car. I think this would be pretty cool; having a little chrome tip out the passenger side of the car. I'm sure with the noise of the rotary, it would make a few people crap their pants aswell. and it would be nice to be able to be a daily driver, and every now and then get the benifits of a free flowing exhaust. does anyone know of any other information on it, or what kinda prices I'm looking at?

alot of FD guys are running these from what i've read. i am looking in to this as well and just might give it a shot if i find the performance of running straight downpipe out the side is worth it.

I had one on an n/a 1st gen for a very short time. It was unbearably loud. I felt like a ricer. Alot of noise but no speed. I took it off. It was fun for about 5 minutes.
