Is this possbile? If so, is it close to a bolt on or project from hell?! (Want to get rid of the play and also drive around town...i'm skinny and weak)

i would not reccomend power steering i have driven 1st gens with it and it sucks unless you only drive 65, never hit turns or canyons, etc.. the play you are experiencing might be the control are bushings (I think) i had the same problem . go to the dealership and they can tell you which cbushings you need to correct your problem
