Unhappy excentric sahft of 12a auto vs manual

just found out that the motor i bought from an auto car.. wont fit in my manual box (even with the flywheel from my manual box)

aparently the excentric shaft is slightly long/bigger..

can any one confirm this?

and if its true, how to rectify it?

-Cheers

That shouldnt be an issue. They should all be the same. I have heard of FC 13B's in automatics that werent drilled for a pilot bearing, but thats second hand info. Never heard of anyone having an issue like this in a 1st gen ever.

yeah, I'm running a 84 12a auto in my 83 5spd. No problem whatsoever. Just had to buy a pilot bearing and seal and hammer that sucker in there. There is only (1) ecc. shaft for all 12a's as far as I know........
