Body creaking

I have a creaking body where it'll pop on hard bumps or when transitioning between acceleration and braking. It sounds like it's coming from the door striker area or maybe inside the glass frame. Anybody had this or know of a likely culprit? I've dug back in there with no luck.

Those things look like a pain in the *** to change, too. Probably have to do it, though. Any idea what new ones cost?

I just replaced nearly all the bushings in my car. I did it with energy suspension bushings. Find the bushing and I can get you a price.

In order to find it I've got to remove the rear axle, so I might as well do all of 'em. What would 8 link bushings and the 3 Watts link bushings run?

Okay, so now I'm replacing the rear link bushings with poly units. The instructions say to press or burn them out. What is necessary to press or burn them out? I'm using the auto shop at an Air Force base, so they might have a good press or torch, but which is easier?
