Ethanol?

does anyone know what it would take to make our cars run on ethanol, has any one done this?

Hrm. I may not be completely right, but isnt Ethanol really corrosive to our existing hosing?

Yep, and you would need to change out the fuel lines to accomodate it too.

Forget ethanol....you're not being "green", you won't save money and the carb has to be extensively modified to flow the extra fuel to correct skewed stochiometry when using E40 to E100. Seals and rubber have to be changed ala running methanol fuel.

im not trying to be "green" im trying to fing a way to pass smog with no emissions equipment plus the added benefit of less carbon deposits in the engine.
