I reckon that looks doable. Might have to delete the small flap/cover at the bottom though.

Now that'd be cool. You make one for an 83 gsl with a stock center console appearance and I think you will own my next paycheck between this and the c/f hood. BTW I will get the cash for that too you asap.

hey, i'm pretty intrested, but I have a lot of questions

Do you have them available for SA consoles?

How well do they fit?

Do they come with any holes of any sort, or do you have to cut them?

What do use to cut carbon fiber- just any old jigsaw or something?

Can they be painted (sorry, I'm not big on CF on old cars)

Thanks a bunch

^^^I can get blank C/F or f/glass FC consoles. Will be doing some FC gearstick surrounds at some stage.

Help please someone- With the GSl-SE consoles- are the Airvents at the top part of the console or are they inserts/seperate?

rbf41182gt- The SA22C consoles are same fit as per factory item. Can do in black gelcaoted fiberglass also.

Back to the GSL-SE consoles- Would it bother you guys if the Airvents are different to factory? I can't really see anyway to mould this bit and the C/F will not comply with the OEM design

The vents screw into the back of the console face plate, they are not part of it. The heater dials, ashtray and filler slots are the same. Enclosed are pics of the front and back, with and without the bolt ons. If you need an oem part to work from PM me.

Hardest part I see in reproducing these in CF or glass is the raised pins that everything screws into, along with the opening for the ashtray. But then I have never tried a project like this. There is no difference between the GSL-SE and other models in the US for this part.

I will offer a suggestion for a couple other parts you may wish to reproduce, those would be the door handle pull cups and the armrest pull cups. There are a few of door handle cups availible, but not in all colors and I have not seen any armrest cups for sale.

Sorry for the dark pics, it's 4:30 am. If you need better ones, send me your e-mail addy and I wil take some hi-res ones with better lighting.
