Engine sounds is not running smooth under load.

Well, i started to notice it a while ago, but it seems to only be getting worse. When i am driving in anything above 1st gear trying to accelerate, my engine dosen't sound or feel smooth. If i had to describe the sound, i would say its like its gurgeling(i can't spell). It used to only do it in 3rd under with a bit of gas, now i can faintly hear it when im cruising on the interstate. Anyone run into this before, or have any idea what might be causing this.

Btw, engine wise i have no studdervalve, everything is blocked off on the intake, running a msd 6al ignition with no rats nest.

Any help, as always is appreciated

Check your universal joints for wear.

I used to have a similar problem. Had a real quick studder/gurgle. Hard to explain the sound. And it would only happen if i tried to accelerate quickly(under load). Sounds just like your prob.

The bad news is, i have no idea what it was. I upraded my whole fuel system including a sterling carb, and that fixed it.
