Hi guys, 1st post here, but would like some assistance please. This friend of mine asked me to help him out. He has an '83 RX7, he's the original owner, and said his Appex seals are blown, otherwise the car is mint. He was wondering what's the best route to take here, so I told him I would research it. I usually post on the Supraforums.com, and most everyone there just buys JDM's (low milage engines pulled from Japan and then shipped to the US). Is this something that's available for the RX7's? If not, could someone recommend a shop near the Austin area that could do the rebuild for him?

Thanks in advance...............................RAJUNZ

lots of people put jdms in rx-7s, only thing is that most of them are 13b turbos, which means its not gonna be a stock replacement, you can pick em up for under a grand easy if you look around

Thanks Mcnanney, but this guy is older and I don't think he's too performance minded, just looking for a stock replacement. Any idea who sells a decent JDM stock replacement?
