engine harness help, which wires for alternator and idiot lights?????
I should have my TII engine in by the end of next week. I need to figure out which wires on the harness connector are for the two alternator wires and for the oil level idiot light.
The wire hooked to the alt are both white and black and the oil level light is black, But I cant find them on the harness connector.
the car is a 82 S

I think from memory the thicker of the 2 wires on the alt is 12V ign, i beleive its black/yellow, the thinner white/blk is for the idiots lights... The wire color for the oil sending unit I dont know off hands w/o looking, shouldnt be hard to find if yuo have a FSM or a haynes, it has schematics in it. It will tell you what color it is...

Yeh, I figured out the yellow black one, but there are two small white and black wire also, I was thinking they were for voltage regulation.
Ill have the dash out anyways for the autometer guages, so ill just route a new wire.
