Anyone know how I can drop my HC levels? My cat is fried and the carb needs rebuilt

Sounds like you answered your own question. Slap that cat betweem a pair of buns with your condiments of choice and get a new one. Rebuild the carb. done.

Daily driver. Don't have the time to rebuild the carb. I have one ready from RX-7Carl but I need the money to give to him so I can get it. I don't have the money for a new cat at the moment

HC is usually a symptom of rich mixture and poor ignition.. check your plugs, wires and timing... make sure the air pump is on while testing (burn up the HC in the cat).

try running gas-a-hol.. less carbon density in the fuel means less carbon density in the exaust.
