Just tugging your chain man, Is there a reason you are rebuilding the engine?

Before you start it, see how long it has sat around, if its more than 12 months, do a search on how to start an engine that has sat around, mainly dump old fuel (you may have a drain underneath tank in an 85) add new pump it through lines (disconnect fuel line at carb) then change fuel filter, then add some MMO into engine through carb and turn it over by the bolt on the front pulley by hand several times, crank it and when it fires it will smoke (a lot) after the smoke cleans up change plugs, wires, oil and oil filter, do this procedure in this exact order so you dont foul the new filter and plugs.
