Emergency Brake stuck!

I have rear drum brakes and my car has been sitting for a while.. however I put the emergency brake on and now the back wheels are locked. What is the best way to get this undone?
Please help.

Have someone pull the car with a tow rope. Its just a little rust that locks the brake parts up.

also before you tow it loosen the 10mm e-brake adjustment next to the handle.

I had this happen and drove about a half a block before it released. I don't leave the ebrake on any more

how can you tighten the e-brake up? i have drums in the rear. when i use the ebrake it'll hold my car on a hill, but i have to yank the fiznuck out of it. it sits kinda high up.

here to help agian..
take off the vynal around the hand brake and u should see a 10mm screw, just tighten it. but tighten it when the hand brake is off. and check if the car still rolls with it off after tighting it..
my cable is really streched. i had to put a large hose clap around where the cable splits into two to tighten even more.. ultra ghetto but it works..

just drive really fast. Like, break the sound barrier. That should fix it.
