Electric Fans Upgrade

I am thinking about upgrading my fan to electric fans. I was wondering because the car doesn't have something to automatically control the electric fans is the only option to wire it to a switch? I would like to make it automated but I don't know if that is possible. If that is not possible I would like to know where you guys who have done this have mounted the switch so I can see what works best.

Maybe a electric fan controller could work?

Thanks

Where did you mount it? Also where did you put in the temperature probe?

This is another good option.
Uses a real temp sensor and proper 70 amp relay.

Jamming a temp probe into the radiator fins works but is truly less than ideal.

These are my dual fans..... Derale 16812 Dual Electric Fans.....they pull, as stated by Derale, 2720 CFMs.

This is how they looked before I did some custom fab to fix the length.....the were to long side to side. .about 2 inches total on each side.....the height part was perfect......

Here they are installed after the fab work.....
