if your using any sort of reluctor adapter ( GM/bosch or j105 or j109 ) then you have to check the timing when done,, as wiring the trigger polarity backwards will shift the timing,, and make it retard with revs
you have to also be aware that the series 1 electronic dizzy ( j105 ) has its reluctor vanes in opposite direction to those in the s2/3 dizzy
this does have implications for the trigger polarity,, as if you follow a diagram made for the s1 dizzy for the s2/3 dizzy you will have a timing shift and retard with revs
setup properly you test for idle and for about 25 BTDC at 4000 rpm,, by 8000 rpm it should have added about 2 degrees ( 27 BTDC )
if so,, you have all the polarity correct
