this have been cover multi times just do a search on but the, but a flat basic base line for an answer would be yes but it takes more e85 than normal gas. so if your trying to save money by using e85 over normal gas you would end up paying the same amount

Truth be told, these little engines can run on practically anything. You just have to tune your carb for it.
Go ahead and give it a try. If it's available in your area, we can't get it here.

When ethanol first came out there was concern that carb seals, gaskets, and hoses wouldn't hold up. I ran it in my 71 Road Runner and never had a problem.
There really hasn't been any discussion of E85 here, I think there was a thread in the 2nd gen section. I don't really think it would hurt, though I know very little about it and it is not here where I am. If anything, the engine might run a bit leaner and I think a lot cleaner internally. Might make a good decarbonizer.
