Yes that is correct. It's kinda like putting on a holley intake and carb and not running an header system. You don't get the most usage of the potential HP.

Again i will state the same thing. It is recommended(BY RACING BEAT) that ONLY on EXHAUST porting that you either use NEW housings or ONLY those in EXCELLENT shape).
Housings do not have to be in EXCELLENT shape only within specs and visual inspection to be used for NORMAL STOCK rebuilding. Again it is only a RECOMMENDATION, Sorry it's not my quote but from a reputable engine rebuilder that has been in business for many years.
And my statement that most streetports today are only intake should be that most do it yourselfers choose to do only the exhaust based on research i've done.

Is that more acceptable to you?
Ok, no worries mate.

About 45 minutes. I actually took the Rx-7 down there for a cruise last night. Beaches, nightlife, cars what more could you ask for.

A buddy of mine is from Australia, born in chinchilla.
I was there in 1980 and spent 2 weeks on the gold coast. Was alot different then it is now.
There was only 1 big hotel under construction at that time on the beach.

Had an apartment like place right facing the beach. Fully self sufficent even with washer/dryer. Spent a total of 2 months there. Went from Sydney to great barrier reef and then back down to Melbourne. Had a chance to meet the band Mi-Sex, i don't know how long they were popular or you even know them. It was a long time ago.

Yeah it's changed a hell of a lot. It's absolutely huge now and is a lot seedier and tackier since you were there. It also has the worlds tallest residential building and is Australias car theft capital. I've been through Chinchilla a few times.

hey 84sleeper do you know what size carb venturis, air correctors and jets are you running now? with a 45DCOE you can go up a bit on the venturi size and squeeze a bit more hps without going to a bigger carb yet.

Good numbers no matter what you hear...as far as stock ignition should be good to be able to rev it pass 7.5k with no problem don't spend to much $ on it. Get new plugs and wires.

yea, your stock ignition is plenty good for your setup. when you start making over 200rwhp then you want to add a cdi box. but, if you went ahead and add one now it wouldn't hurt

It's midwinter on the Gold Coast, so not many around!

Just fitted ski racks to my Wife's car, surprisingly her Gen 1 handles well with snow chains on stock ride height.

Believe 84 sleeper is running with a F3 and 230 jets.

Any other suggestions to improve power on this car with these mods ?
