Dust boot on front struts

I just got my new Tokico HP's today, and I was wondering if I should reuse the original dust boot on the car, or buy new. What do you guys usually do? Does the dust boot completely seal the piston? I've never changed struts before. If I do decide to get new boots, are they car specific or can I get them from any local parts store? Thanks.
