Dust

I know this isn't very first gen specific, But I noticed latley that my car's been gathering a lot of dust. I know my garage is dusty but nothing else gathers this much dust so quickly after I wash it. I bought a car duster but it turned out to be ****.

Any recommendations?

Yeah that one. It worked the exact opposite. It got a bit more dust o the car and I just ended up "sweeping" the dust to one point and just wiping it off with some detailer and a towel

I wonder if an electrical issue could be producing excessive amounts of static? You might want to try a better type of wax too (some shed dust better than the cheap stuff).

I use Megiurs NXT wax (The bottle with the third gen RX7 on the bottle!!) and if it gets dusty, which it usually doesnt I go over it with a microfiber cloth, and as long as you keep the microfiber clean it picks up dust like no other!

easy way to keep the dust down in your garage is to use a humidifier...make the dust stay on the walls or floor where its supposed to stay...

I use my CA duster all the time.
Thats the trick, you have to use it a bunch before it works good. When they are brandnew, they dont work well at all...except as a dust sweeper.

And the car has to be waxed or at least have had a wax.Grime and film that builds up weeks after a wash cant be dusted off.Fresh dust and pollen that accumulates after a wash/wax will come right off with a duster, its the clean slick surface that makes it work. But after a while, the road film just wont let the dust slide off into the duster and you have to wash/scrub again.

The more you use the duster the better it cleans.
