That was dumb!!

Today I needed to work under one side of the car. I slid the jack under and looked to see if it was in a good spot. Start lifting the car and then heard an odd noise. The car immediately Dropped. ??? I had put the jack on a plug in the florr. The jack was standing verticle and was inside the car! All better now, but THAT WAS DUMB!!

An FB weighs around 2200 lbs. I'd bet that an SA weighs close to that. I could be entirely wrong, but that would mean a quarter of it weighs under 600 lbs.?

I use jack stands to be safe, although one time my car rocked off of four jack stands.

Now i know someone who will let me use a rundown shop with hardly any tools, but it has a lift
