dual or singal
it has come time to get my exhaust done. i have to decide if i want to run dual exhaust or single. the header will be from racing beat. and it will temp run straight backs, till i get money for the rest of the exhaust. i know it's gona be loud but o well. not any louder than the chevelle that runs open headers that run threw the cabin and exit on the passenger door. so i'm not worried about noise complaints. i ahve a 8813b in my 84 gsl-se, which will gimme the best result for power and where will i notice the power. any loose in power at any rpm. what ya guys think?

i dont know if the power difference between a single configuaration to a dual configuration is much... i mean, i thought i read somewhere that it was almost negligible, but then why would RB have a dual-exhaust system? or maybe i'm thinking of later RX-7s. bah it's late.

The dual system is for ported engines, the single is for stock port systems. Lots of people run the dual system on a non-ported engine though. Ive heard you get the same amount of power (for the most part), but a different sound. Although, if you ever decide port your engine, you have the ideal exhaust setup for it .
In hine sight, I wish I had bought the dual setup, just because Ive thought about porting quite a few times, and I wouldnt have to mess with buying another system. I was told that the single system is designed for the most power from a stock port, but with the difference in power being so small (from what I hear), I would rather have just gotten the dual system, lol.
