Dual Kadrons (carbs)

I've seen a dual single barrel weber setup, anyone ever tried or heard of dual kadrons, like vw's often use?
They are very inexspensive and simple.
You can modify one single carb to flow 365cfm.

yeah it is pretty common..

Typically the rotary will use either a DCOE weber style side draft, or an IDA/IDF weber style down draft.

Check e-bay for some good deals..

IT is pretty easy to build you own kit.

I've seen dual SU carb on a rotary. Why not kadron? R&D it.

Looks possible. I think theyre too small though. Youd need to run a pair of them (not modded to 365cfm). What would you do for a manifold?

That's for a 13b.
You can get pairs of 36 dells for 129 from Italy all day long, and I already have a dual manifold for them.

I can get kadrons for 50 a pair!
I can fab a mainifold for anything, so that's no concern.

I was just wondering if there was any interest and/or anyone had seen this setup.

thanks

Whoa, you got me!

I think the last time someone said "HELLO" was back in 1992 and they got burned alive.

I'm trying to think of a nice way to tell you to **** yourself but I can't think of one that won't violate forum rules. I'm out of luck I guess.

I did notice that right after posting. Too bad you there's not a better shot to see how that works. You can see the secondaries are angled on the 12a flange. I bet the flow is different between flanges.
The setup will probably go for 400 or more

I think kadrons would as good or better and only cost me 80 for everything.

I'll get the carbs in the next week or so, see if they both fit side by side on a weber style manifold I already have, tap for holley jets, hopefully just have to weld tabs on the manifold I already have made, it's rough but will do, slap it on the car and tune like crazy.

I'll post a link, keep a lookout.
