Dual feed carb question

Dual feed carb question

Ok so I know I have a dual feed carb. I'm going to install a carter fuel pump and holley FPR. I was looking at the install figure for the FPR and they suggest to use the second outlet to feed the the dual feed carb. See figure. Is this a good idea? I kind of wanted to use that port for a gauge. Or maybe just get a inline gauge? PDF of FPR 12-803 http://www.holley.com/data/Products/...199R7914-3.pdf

Holley dual feed carbs have a single feed line that branches off to each fuel bowl. Go ahead and use the other port for your fpg.

Right now their is one fuel line coming up and their is a brass tee that goes to both sides of the carb. So it wouldn't help if both sides of the carb were feed off different sides of the FPR. I just want it kind of explained to me. I don't know much about carbs.

If it's a Holley, they all have a single feed going to the 2 fuel bowls. What more explanation do you need, theory, then buy a book.

holly FPR suck get an aeromotive they are not much more money they have dual feed and a gauge port

I went with a Barry Grant FPR with a guage output as well and it's been great.

Holley Dual Feed steup.
Aeromotive FPR sinlge outlet to -Single inlet Dual Russel Inlet to
-Dual lines feeding the Holley Carb.
