Dual 40DCOE Weber setup

Fellas,
Has anyone in here ever used the dual 40 DCOE Weber setup on a car? I've seen a few for sale and wondered about what experiences people have had with them.
Thanks,
Peacedog

The "turbo alternative" setup ? No experience, but have run across it. Dual Webers applications on other piston cars have been around forever. I'd make sure it isn't too much carb. Especially if you have a stock 12A. Others will show up soon with specifics.

A 40mm and even 45mm are fine for the stock port 12A, I have a 45mm and Im pretty shure a 40mm would cut it,jetting is going to be different/bigger for the 40mm than on a 45.

One 40dcoe is going to flow about as much air as a stock nikki, but 2 would haul ***. Ask jamers he had dual delortos on a stock port 12a that hauled *****.

Nice looking setup. Do you know what manifold that is? It looks like the Lake city's (sp?) style, I was just wondering if there a more choices in that style.

That looks really nice ... but how hot would the air be from there? Its right about the headers ... i'm not sure about you, but my headers can produce quite a bit of heat by there.
