Was wondering on the average cost for a 88 turbo or non turbo drivetrain, everything needed for a 1st gen transplant.. what have people paid for eng, trans, ecu harness etc..

also need advise if worth it or not..

There is no "ECU harness". You have to basically remove the engine control wires from the main harness. Not very pretty.

Cheapest/easiest way is to get an entire FC donor car and park it next to the swap car, that way you have everything there and you don't have to worry about "Am I missing anything?"

Is it worth it? On a power basis, IMO it's not worth it (unless you live where emissions is a problem) because you can get the same power from a 12A for less hassle. But there is definitely the "fangle factor" in the engine swap which adds coolness. You definitely will not see a return on investment if you want to sell the car, however.

The 12A Avenger !! has SPOKEN... And he is right, dude...

Do some mods to your 12A cheaper and quicker than doing all that

It cost me around 400-500 dolllars back in 1987. Will find out next week. I would say 150.00 to ship from Japan but not sure.. If they still have it i'm sure you will get a good deal..
