I have an 85 gsl-se. When Im going down the road it almost sounds like I have a joint in my drive shaft going bad. It's a constant "knocking" sound. I figured out that when I pull up on my shifter, the sound goes away. I am hopeing someone has had this problem in the past and can help me out. Is it just a worn bushing? Thanks.

Probably a bad tranny mount - if you can pick up the shifter at all, yeah it's bad.
