I prefer without power steering. Mainly because there is much less of a chance to over correct and it feels as though I have more control over where the car is headed next.

I drift with the stock steering. It's fine for my skill level and like bahlorm said, you don't over correct as easily. I slid my friend's 240 and did terrible because I am so used to the FBs stiff steering and of course the watt's link which binds up then causes that nice snap steer.

I only took mine out in a parking lot to have a little fun one night in the wet. I was amazed at how precise everything is. It was to the point to where I could slide it as much as I wanted and could get it back in line when and where I wanted and not once had a problem. And of course I am not one to be a drifter or doing those kinds of things daily, but I have never had a car that was that easy to control. But I would think with power steering this control would be lessened, and the wheel wont feel so stiff.
