Question Dowel Pin Leak Puddle

A while back i posted about an oil leak and found out i had the dreaded dowel pin leak Oil was sitting right above where it says 12A on the engine and I read that that meant it was the dowel pin leak. Well now oil does NOT sit there, but it get oily right below where it says 12A and runs down the side of the engine.

My question is - Why did it just stop making as puddle above the 12A? It use to always sit there and puddle.

maybe its getting worse, and more oil is oming out making it "overflow" and drain off the engine.

but if it was overflowing then there would still be some puddled. Like if you overflow a sink

perhaps your oil is taking a new poath out of the same general area. like it is now leaking from somewhere closet to the edge of the housing instead of from closer to the recess that it was pooling in before. Or maybe you are taking a long right hand turn on your way home from work that you didnt used to take. At any rate I hear that people will some times drill a hole right there where its leaking and insert there a short piece of snug fitting brass tubing. then you attatch a piece of vacume line to that and run it to vacume. at least they you get rid of the dribblies if not the leak. forget about getting rid of the leak. Its not bad for your car bet its ... well... leaky . good luck. Oh and by the way. I have never tried this.
